The 87th Infantry Division Museum is located at 81 Rue du Mont, close to the town centre of Saint-Hubert. Opened entirely from its own funds in 2004, it is the work of a passionate man, Olivier Gillard.

Oliver became fascinated by the Battle of the Ardennes after discovering his grandfather's memoirs recounting the experiences of the soldiers of the 87th American Division from December 1944 to January 1945. The museum houses a multitude of objects and documents from this period, war memorabilia which is the result of research and discoveries made in the countryside and forests of the region.

The museum includes original items such as military identity plates, medical equipment and its biggest discovery: the incomplete engine of a Halifax.

You can visit the museum free of charge by prior arrangement.
